How to read the Pearl blockchain

Blocks contain confirmed transactions. Inputs spend previous outputs, while new outputs can pay a recipient or return funds to the sender. A public address balance is not necessarily a complete wallet balance.

Mempool transactions are pending and can confirm or disappear. Check block time, fetch time and index coverage before drawing conclusions from a snapshot.
